Occlusion, completed in the palatal area, also extends into the alveoli and the soft palate. The uvula comes forward and becomes detached from the pharyngeal wall, so the stream of air exists through the nasal cavities (rebuilt only in the beginning).The tongue adopts the characteristic vault shape of palatal articulations.
